Moon in Aries

I love American TV Presidents- they have such, well, presidential names and numerals…like Fitzgerald Grant III on my current obsession, Scandals. We here in Australia are very different- we don’t have nearly the same level of reverence when naming our leaders: Bob, Paul, John, Kevin, Julia, Tony…to name recent examples.

Anyways, Fitz- as this particular President is known- said something in the last episode I watched. He said to Cyrus, something like,

‘My job is to come up with the big ideas, yours is to fill in the detail.’

Aaaah, now- that’s Sagittarius in Mercury talking.

Speaking of Sagittarius in Mercury and big ideas, Mercury will today trine Uranus. Not only might there be big ideas, but they will be unexpected, out of the blue.

The influence of this one was with us yesterday, but yesterday the Moon was in Pisces, and that energy is very different to todays go get em Aries feel.

Your job today is not to worry so much about the details- the hows and the whys- yours is to grab the ball, step up to the plate and run with it…to mix a few sporting metaphors. And, with the Moon conjunct Uranus in Aries, you’ll itching to run with it, to take a chance with it, to take a punt on it. Yep, now we’re onto the gambling metaphors…

So yes, you’ll be itching to do something- to make a move, to start a project, to be on your way…in your way.  The main danger of this transit is if you do…nothing.

The Moon in Aries conjunct Uranus and trine Mercury demands courage- to fearlessly be yourself and believe in your big ideas- regardless of the outcome.

You may, however, still be questioning yourself…yes? I get that- especially if you’re in the middle of a Saturn transit. The thing is, Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) is currently trine Saturn. Sure, Jupiter is retrograde, which means that you’ll be doing a bit of reviewing of the elasticity of your boundaries (or, indeed the snugness of your waist band), but, a little faith that things will be ok will help.

This is a real go on, take a chance…you know you want to…type of astro weather forecast.

My warning? Whenever Sagittarius or Jupiter is involved, the warning is always around over confidence, and betting more than you can afford- both metaphorically and realistically speaking. All I’m saying is think big, trust your instincts, take the bit, and clear those fences…or something like that.
