Moon in Aries

Pluto Direct

We have a sort of a little ritual here in Chez Tracey- I get the ingredients in for dinner and hubby will execute my vision. Don’t worry, he doesn’t cook every night….

Anyways, it’s a good opportunity for us to catch up on whatever has been happening.

Last night as we chatted, I was browsing through a new magazine, Collective. Essentially it’s about design, creativity, ideas, technology- making things possible. As I’d throw out little pieces of amazement at hubby, rambling from one unrelated snippet to the next random one, it struck me- this was the absolutely most perfect conversation to be having as the Moon approached being full in Pisces.

Then somehow we segued into the TV commercial Dumb Ways to Die. This campaign, to reduce stupid behavior around trains, is now the most awarded ad in history. If you haven’t seen it, you must- sure it’s a serious message, but I guarantee the song will stay in your head all day.

Anyways, this ad has transcended the normal boundaries of TV commercials- morphing into a popular app, millions of youtube downloads, a Facebook page…the song has even hit the top of some itunes charts.

It’s a reminder of exactly what is possible if the boundaries are blurred and creativity is allowed to flow unimpeded.

Every so often our personal power or flow feels a little (ahem) constipated. Stuck. In need of a little, shall we say, cosmic fibre to get it all moving again.

Perhaps you have been feeling like that lately? Like the projects, the real transformative projects, have lost their momentum. Perhaps you’re feeling a little out of control, like your hands are no longer on the steering wheel? As if you’re in some sort of slow moving toxic sludge- that you’ve started something Big and somehow had lost direction, momentum and control.

Perhaps what you’re in need of is a mini emotional detox? Just something to clean out whatever it is that’s clogging you up- so to speak. A little something to have energy flowing freely for the next stage of the project…

What I’m describing is Pluto stationing direct. Pluto is about power, ambition, transformation, truth and elimination, so it’s natural that after 6 months of that energy being turned inward, something needs to give.

The stationing point (8 Capricorn 59’) is always a powerful one- especially if it triggers something else in your chart. If your transformational projects have been feeling stuck, they will very soon start to move.

It’s no coincidence that Saturn (and the North Node) is almost exactly sextile this point- will be at 8 Scorpio 56’ at the time Pluto is direct. You have an opportunity to get real and to eliminate any of the crud that is holding you back from being who you need to be. And crud, is very often what it is. This is real truth or dare time. We talked about this the other day.

The thing about Pluto and Saturn opportunities, is that they’re sort of like the offer that you can’t refuse.

In any case, have a think about what this is activating for you. Is there any part of your life that is in need of a little cosmic help to get things moving again?
