Moon into Sagittarius
Scorpio rules my 9th house.
The 9th house is associated with Sagittarius and is all about the ways in which we expand ourselves past ourselves. It’s why this house has to do with travel of all sorts- the physical travel, metaphorical travel, spiritual travel, philosophical travel, educational travel, travel beyond our own viewpoint into those of others. All of that stuff.
With Scorpio on the cusp, and Neptune within, I have a pretty intense attitude to anything that can, shall we say, blow my mind- change it, expand it, alter it forever. Travel changes me- every time.
I’m not aligned to any specific religion, nor am I an aetheist, but I am spiritual and, in Asia especially, the ritual of Taoist or Buddhist temples gives me a sort of peace that I don’t find in many other places. I love the incense and the fortune sticks- or chim as they are called. I love the colour, the fragrance, the…I don’t know what.
Anyways, there’s some great temples here- the shots above I took last night in a fantastically ornate temple near Raohe Street Markets. It’s called Ciyou Temple and is in the middle of the garment district, Houshanpi.
Today the Moon moves from Scorpio into Sagittarius, the mood should lighten. First up will be a square between Neptune and the Moon. This one is always a little about grabbing those fantasies out of your head and taking them for a bit of a magic carpet ride. After all, how hard could it be?
