Moon in Capricorn
So anyways, I was having a cuppa with a girlfriend yesterday afternoon and we were chatting about a decision she’s been putting off having to make. You know the type of thing- you know what the right answer probably is, but it doesn’t yet feel right. She just needed more time to fully form it in her head.
Something else has happened and she no longer has to tackle the original problem now until early next year. That timing works much better. Thank you Mercury.
Another friend having a pesky set of Saturn conjunctions is uncomfortable. Given that Saturn natally is pretty darned good (in the 10th in Capricorn and conjunct Jupiter), the likelihood would be that things, although now uncomfortable, will probably work out ok if they just buckled down and did what the transit was encouraging them to do. A few days after Saturn moved away from their Neptune, an offer came through. It’s not fully formed, and it will require more work (as is the nature of any Saturn offer), but professionally it’s likely to be a Good Thing. Naturally nothing will happen on any dotted lines until after Mercury turns direct.
I hear stories like this a lot, and continue to be amazed at the way the Universe works.
We’re given the time to step back from busy-ness and use our re words around all things communication, we’re given nudges to examine our faith, our dreams and our future vision. We mightn’t like it, but that’s what the retrograde periods can be good for.
Take now for example. Right now we all have a chance to check in on our goals and achievements. In fact, the Universe provides us with twelve opportunities every year to do so. Like our own personal performance reviews. WTF?
It’s the Capricorn Moon.
Sure we talk about this time as being good for anything to do with business, planning and strategizing. But what about also making it a ritual to use these couple of days to check in on your goals, and your achievements against those?
I don’t know about you, but I tend to lose track of my direction. I get distracted along the way by interesting side routes and things I want to stop and photograph…so to speak. Sometimes I get distracted by what appears to be a shortcut, but is actually a delusion. What can I say? Saturn is the weakest planet in my personal deck.
The thing is, checking in on your goals regularly gives you a chance to re-focus and re-align, in need. If you’re the type to set personal action plans, now is the time to look at how you’ve gone against them.
Then, do two things:
- Don’t beat yourself up about how far you have still to go or what you have failed to do. Instead concentrate on how far you’ve come and what you have achieved- even if it doesn’t specifically relate to the goals that you’ve set.
- Celebrate your achievements and reward yourself.
Ok…back to work…as you were…
