Something about equilibrium and beautiful things…

Moon into Libra

The Moon will be in Libra by early afternoon (Sydney time). This means that there’s a New Moon just around the corner- Saturday morning (my time), Friday afternoon/evening (in the North).

By now you should be deep into New Moon wishing, or intention making- if you’re into doing that sort of thing, that is. At the very least, the New Moon is a reminder to pause and take stock, a way of getting in touch with cycles- even if it is brief.

My friend Aileen over at Mystic Trinity has developed a journal especially for this purpose- for New Moon wishes and Full Moon blessings.  It’s a way of tracking the Moon and her cycle- and your moods and intentions- as she tracks through the zodiac. Not only has she made these look gorgeous, but she adds the Moon times personalised to your time zone for the next 12 months.

It’s a lovely idea and a beautiful way to organise your thoughts. Drop on over and take a look.

I tend to write things down on random pieces of paper, or post it stickers. Sometimes, if I remember to, I’ll pop it in my journal- the same one I do my daily pages in…on the occasions that I remember to do that too.

Yesterdays Sun-Uranus opposition is still in range, so is the Sun-Pluto square from the other day. There’s more to come tomorrow, so for today make the effort to look for that point of balance, of equilibrium. No matter what else is happening, dredge out a few minutes to sit and pause- to find a point of peace and calm.
