Moon in Aries
The Moon is in Aries, so I’ll keep this short- besides, you should be out doing stuff rather than sitting here reading my posts…although, obviously I’m glad that you are…
That dose of cosmic laxative via a newly direct Pluto shaking hands across the Universe with Saturn will exact later today, but the energy is already in place. Saturn and Pluto are in each others signs and when this aspect perfects, we’ll have something the traditionals call mutual reception– when two planets are aspected in signs ruled by the other. It combines both the motivation and the opportunity to act.
As I said yesterday (and earlier in the week), we have ourselves a window where something transformational might just be visible. Don’t expect a lightning bolt from the blue (although, who knows, that could happen), as anything that means this much will be more subtle. Besides, Scorpio and Capricorn are involved, so you’ll have to look beyond the headlines.
Today?
The Moon continues through Aries.
I love this time of the month. For me, Aries is first and 2nd house stuff and my energy is high. Yesterday I used it to finish getting the garden ready for summer. We have a relatively large back yard, so for the last couple of weekends I’ve been pruning and digging and weeding and mulching. The lavenders, daisies, sage and rosemary are flowering and everything else now looks great…at least until the harsh summer sun hits…
Anyways, Aries is good for putting a burst of energy into starting something, or getting something across the finishing line…it’s not so great for the boring middle bits.
Today, La Luna will square off against Jupiter. This can be very much an I want it now tanty, and it may just involve a combo of pure energy meeting more than a little passive aggression. That tends to equal frustration…and when frustration isn’t released productively, it tends to boil over.
If you’re feeling hot under the collar today, my advice is to move the body and shift the emotion- if at all possible.
If that’s not possible, slow down, connect with the emotion, and then take action.
That’s the other thing about Aries Moons- especially one that will be void for a large part of the day- if Aries doesn’t have a legitimate enemy to take arms up against, a maiden to save or a problem to solve, he’ll create one.
It’s far better to pull on your trainers and move through it.
Aries Moon is not a time for analysis, excuses or what ifs. It’s about 4 letters- JFDI…..Just Flipping Do IT!
