Venus conjunct Saturn

If Venus is about relating and the things that help us feel good and the things that we want…and if Saturn is about being responsible, being real, being mature…then, Venus conjunct Saturn is about getting real about what we want, it’s about taking a responsible and long term, view to relationship. With Venus and Saturn in Scorpio, we’re talking emotional maturity, intensity and deep, deep commitment.

Venus conjunct Saturn isn’t about hearts and flowers. It’s not about romance. Instead it’s about what happens after the happy ever afters.

Venus transits are generally indulgent and even a little flamboyant- this one is not. Instead, it’s actually quite prudent.

Saturn transits are often unpleasant- this one is not. Instead, it just brings some sobriety to a situation- sort of like an alcohol free day after a weekend of, shall I say, a tad too much of too much.

…and that’s not a bad thing.

Besides, with the aspects and possibility around us at the moment, it’s possibly best that we approach it all with a clear head and a mature attitude.
