Moon in Pisces
Venus in Leo
So anyways, I’ve been in Melbourne this week with Miss 15, my sister B and my niece- Miss nearly 15, A. We’ve had a fabulous few days of shopping, eating, talking, and insta-spamming. What’s insta-spamming? If you’re one of those who follows my instagram feed (jotracey), you’d know!
Yesterday we flew home…that’s right, on the first day of Mercury being retrograde.
I booked Miss 15 and I on a Qantas flight- although the tickets were more expensive, I’ve been burned once before with Jetstar cancellations and decided that on a day when the Rx effect was strongest (the first couple and last couple are traditionally the most, shall we say, interesting) that I’d practice some extra risk mitigation.
It was a breeze.
The flight left on time, arrived ahead of time, our bags were first out, the carpark shuttle bus was there when we came out of the terminal, exiting the carpark was a breeze, the rain had magically stopped and the M2 provided surprisingly an ok run home. All round it was a multiple fist pump moment.
My sister was not so lucky. Here’s how it went.
7.30am Missed call from Jetstar. Message left to advise that due to over selling the flight, B and A have been bumped. The message went on to say that all flights for the day were over sold, but they could get a seat on one tomorrow. B has another 3 kids at home and a schedule that reads like a presidential visitation, so anxiety levels were appropriately high.
8.30am-9am B attempts to get past the Jetstar robot and talk to a real person.
9am-12pm B makes multiple attempts to get past the Jetstar robot.
1pm We all arrive at the airport. Miss 15 and I check into our 2.30pm flight. B and A are informed that because they didn’t answer the original call, Jetstar was unable to boot them off the flight, so their original 2.10pm flight stands. Fists are pumped.
2.10pm We board our flight. B and A still waiting.
2.45pm Wheels up for us
3.50pm Wheels down in Sydney for us. Text received from B: Due to engineering issues flight delayed until 4.15pm. Photo of us waiting.
4.30pm Text received from B: Due to engineering issues flight cancelled. Jetstar think they can get us on a flight after 7pm. Is it in the stars that we shouldn’t be travelling today? Photo of us still waiting.
5pm Text received from B: Qantas to the rescue. Booked on a 6pm flight. Gave us meal vouchers. Yay.
5.30pm We arrive home. Text received from B: Getting closer. Plane at gate- here’s the photo.
6pm Text received from B: Boarding delayed due to engineering issues.
6.30pm Text received from B: Flight cancelled due to engineering issues.
7.30pm Text received from B: On a plane- finally. Think this one might actually get in the sky
8.37pm Text received from B: Yes! On our way home.
In yesterdays stars, I had warned Virgos to be flexible…Stationing Mercury was sitting pretty close to A’s Cancer Moon, and Uranus was crossing B’s Ascendant…not that I wanted to add to their concern…
To the skies…today…
The Moon is in Pisces and just past her monthly hook up with Neptune. Later in the day a sextile with Pluto provides an opportunity to express an emotional issue with fact and confidence, but other than that, it’s all a little what the faff really!
Oh, in true Rx style, you might notice there’s no photo today? With all of my bloggy redesign at the start of the month, I’ve run out of domain space for this month. Whatever…
For a different view on the retrograde, check out this guest post I wrote for Biddy Tarot.

Venus in Leo? Here’s one I prepared a few years ago…Dreaming of the Queen…and another So Flamboyant…
