Alrighty, where to start…?
Firstly, if you’re the type that likes to do the goal-setting and intention-setting thing at the new year, I’ve posted a few articles on how it is that I do it – using the transits that I know are coming up. There are links to each of the posts in this one.
With that out of the way let’s go on to have a look at the week ahead – and an action-packed week it is with Mars moving into Aries tomorrow, Mercury moving into Capricorn later in the week and a power-packed eclipse and New Moon on Sunday.
First up is Mars moving into Aries. Mars is at his strongest and most comfortable in Aries – it’s like a homecoming for him. In Aries Mars can be impulsive, impetuous, competitive, direct, impatient and confident. Mars in Aries is the perfect energy for starting something new – and what can be so worth starting than a brand spanking new and shiny year. Here’s a link to something I wrote last time Mars was in Aries…
Wednesday sees Saturn and the Sun joining forces, adding a little practicality and even more energy to your new year inspiration. Resist the urge to dwell on perceived failures from 2018 or general feelings of unworthiness. You’ve got this.
On Friday Mercury links up with Uranus – and
Also on Saturday is a sextile between the Sun and Neptune. It’s possibly fortunate that this is falling on a weekend as Sun-Neptune days are
The week finishes with a powerful eclipse and New Moon at 15 Capricorn 25′. I’ll pop up something later about eclipses in general and then later in the week about this New Moon, but being in Capricorn the themes are likely to be those of status, ambition, responsibility, authority (and authority figures), parents (and parental figures).
Okay, with that done, let me take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a happy new year. Thanks for your support in 2018 – especially when I’ve been obviously missing from this website. In 2019 I plan to actually send my newsletters regularly (ie more than once a year) and will finally get some of my posts into a series of ebooks that will be available on Amazon.
With that said and declared, it’s goodbye to 2018 and hello to whatever is next!
