Something about attending to details…

Moon in Virgo

The other night I was writing horoscopes.

It’s not something that I do very often- my Piscean attention to detail isn’t focused enough to do this on a daily basis. Every so often though, I find it fun.

Anyways, Miss 15 had plonked herself on the swiss ball in my office- what I like to euphemistically call my guest chair- asked what I was doing and then said:

‘I thought people just made those up.’

WTF? Have I not taught this girl anything?

Then she said:

‘Can you help me out a little, maybe throw in something for Aries that says “your father won’t lose it when you bring your school report home.”’

I told her it doesn’t work that way.

Attention to detail, to the tasks at hand, to organising what needs to be done, to critically assess available resources and direct them to where they will do the most good- this is all the business of Virgo. And when the Moon is in Virgo, this is where our attention is focused.

It’s also focused on making things better, in helping others, in doing something useful. Whether that’s in cleaning your house, sending out invoices or ripping weeds out of the garden (my tasks for the weekend) or something else, what it boils down to is practical usefulness.

Completing anything useful or real may seem unlikely with the Moon’s first aspects in Virgo being an opposition to Neptune and a sextile to Saturn. The ongoing trine between Neptune and Saturn will, however, ensure that there is some reality in the ideals that you’re chasing.

Later in the day, a trine to Pluto and a square to Mars will give a much needed push.
