Saturn in Scorpio- the Missing Piece

A very big oops….

If you purchased Wellbeing Astrology and read my article on Saturn and your Vocation, and if you read it with an eye for detail which I obviously don’t have, you would have noticed that the in depth description is missing for Saturn in Scorpio. Of all signs to miss…

In any case, here is the missing paragraph,  plus a little more… a little taster for when Saturn moves into Scorpio next year.

Saturn in Scorpio

You are called upon to make what can only be termed a transformational difference. It doesn’t matter so much what you do as long as what you do really means something to you- you need to be able to attach emotionally to your goals…yet attaching emotionally scares you. Once you have found your path in life you will follow it with a dedicated, potentially obsessive, focus.

You have ambition which goes beyond a desire to make money for its’ own sake-your real desire is to attain power and influence.  Your challenge is to use that for the purposes of healing rather than devious manipulation.

Your fear is of letting go and relinquishing control, yet blanket mis-trust, a tendency to attack pre-emptively and freeze others out will hamper your ability to achieve your goals. Your lessons are to curb your paranoia and admit that every so often you can be wrong- and to learn from those mistakes.

And some more…

Saturn in Scorpio has a rather unfortunate habit of attacking first, purely in self -defence, and asking questions later. In fact, while we are on the subject of hang-ups, Saturn in Scorpio tends to think the worst of people- the whole guilty until proven innocent thing. Sex and finances are other areas of repression Saturn in Scorpio is prone to languish in.

It is all about protecting emotional boundaries- if you let someone in, even just a little, you may be allowing them to take a little control from you. But it isn’t about that. Sometimes you have to let go a little in order to gain control, power and achieve your goals- and few signs have more potential to get where they want to get than you.

The trick is understanding when to let go, when to flush the waste away, so to speak- and elimination is another of your fears. Essentially you just need to know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ‘em. All the rest is just distraction.

The pics in this post are the maori symbol koru in nature, well in my backyard anyway. The koru represents un-furling, new growth, transformation- all positive Scorpio symbols. I love the design so much I had it immortalised in ink!
