Confession time.

I was supposed to write this yesterday afternoon and schedule for publishing first thing this morning, but I spent yesterday morning with the delightful ladies in the astrology group I belong to up here (when I can get there, that is) and when I got home it was straight out for a lunch date and then I had to do some bits and pieces for the novel that’s being published next Sunday and then I wrote my wrap-up post for the week and then I had to get my word count done for the new novel.

In between that I went to the beach for a little bit and spent some time researching the vertex – which was what we’d spoken about at astro group and which I realised that I’d forgotten most of what I’d previously learnt. Incidentally, if anyone is interested, let me know and I’ll pop a post up about it.

So, in a nutshell, this post didn’t get written yesterday. If, however, you’re interested in what I do when I’m supposed to be writing astro posts, my wrap-up of last week is here.

As for the week ahead? Yeah…it’s looking interesting…

The first aspect of note is a stimulating Mars sextile to Uranus on Thursday. This is notable mainly because it’s the last aspect that Mars makes before he gets his feet wet in Pisces.

All sextiles represent opportunities and in the case of Mars and Uranus, it’s about future or forward-thinking. Uranus is in Aries and more than a tad impatient to get things moving and Mars is in Aquarius with a head full of ideas as to how to make it happen.

The best use of this energy is to make little tweaks, experiment a bit here and there. Maybe try something brand new.

By Friday morning Mars will have moved into Pisces. If you have this placement, know someone who has or know a Piscean man that you can’t quite get a handle on, check out this post from a few years ago.

For the rest of us, whatever part of your chart that’s ruled by Pisces is about to get an energy reboot. I know that I’m going to regret writing this next line – because it is the ultimate earworm – but look at what this house represents for you and try a little kindness.

Venus will be direct by Friday evening, but still getting used to moving forward – a little like me when I’ve been sitting still for a long time #gettingolder. Don’t rush out to buy that over-priced item/ get that tattoo/ radically change your look/ blow your credit card just yet, hey?

Given that Mercury in Sagittarius is not known for either its tactfulness or listening skills this could be an interesting retrograde. Take the time to stop for long enough to check facts, details, listen to what’s being said or determine whether a message has been received in the way it was intended.
