Mars In Aries: It’s Getting Hot In Here

Mars in Aries…oh be still my beating heart!

Is it just me or is it getting hot in here?

Mars rules Aries, so is at his strongest, most physical, most vital, most impulsive, most headstrong, most independent here.

Mars is a hot and masculine planet and Aries a hot, cardinal, and masculine sign, so this is arguably the most masculine and direct of energy forces. It burns hot indeed. Sure, this can mean bulging biceps and all of that rather obvious, clichéd, and a little bit yummy masculinity (if you like that sort of thing, of course), but it isn’t just about the physical. It’s about how that energy is directed – and in Aries, energy is activated in clear lines outwardly. I know a few Aries men who don’t at all fit the clichéd image of Aries – not physically anyway… but, man, their energy is pure irrepressible Aries – and that’s what we’re talking about here.

Anyways, of you want to know more, I’ve written (a lot) more about Mars in Aries here. Don’t forget, what I describe is the energy in its purest form – the impact of other planets will affect that. e.g. my daughter has the Sun, Mars, Mercury and Saturn in Aries. While she is serious Aries energy, the influence of Saturn gives that energy a slower, more measured burn. Just saying.

Doing it for yourself…

We all have Aries somewhere in our chart, and it’s this part of life that’s about to get an energy hit from Mars.I joke with one Aries guy I know, that it’s like he’s a kid on red cordial having a permanent sugar rush. Totally exhausting, yet at the same time, inspiring. It’s that energy that you want to harness in whatever part of life it is that Mars is moving through for you.

Pull your chart out and look for the symbol of Aries. It’s like a ram’s horns.

If you don’t have your chart, read this post on how to get one.

If you don’t know what the houses mean, check out series 1 of the Toolbox or this post.

If you don’t have any idea about your birth time, or can’t be faffed working it out, you can follow the solar guide below.
