Daily Planets Thursday 21/10/10 Not So Soggy

dreamstime_10064214

Today has been OK…substantially less soggy than yesterday and the day before…thankfully…

I often find the 1st day of the Pisces Moon difficult- I guess because it is tracking through my 12th house and in true Piscean style escapist fantasies are blown up- as are emotional bits & pieces that really need to stay hidden as far as possible. Today, though the Moon is well into my 1st house and my energies have lifted accordingly.

The Moon moves into Aries at about 1.22am (Sydney time) Thursday morning and the added fire in the air will be a welcome relief from all the astral humidity… and possibly a little more mojo for those of us who had temporarily misplaced theirs.

One of the 1st aspects the Moon will make is to square Pluto. Now, for one who has been actively trying to suppress things that need to be suppressed, this is not good news- Moon square Pluto often brings with it compulsive behaviours. The challenge (there are always challenges associated with square aspects) is to deal with the emotions honestly rather than just allowing them to burst free when you least need them to.

What tends to accompany a Moon/Pluto square are control and power games. Who has the upper hand in relationships and who is seen to have the upper hand becomes remarkably important tomorrow. The Moon takes on a Scorpio flavour so manipulation of emotions becomes the chosen way to play these games. The question is whether you let yourself be the victim or the perpetrator. If you have a natal Moon/Pluto aspect or a Scorpio Moon, these types of interactions and the use of guilt and jealousy to achieve your aims may come quite naturally to you. With Mercury moving into Scorpio tomorrow morning, the words will match the mood beautifully. More on this separately.

By 11pm (Sydney time) the Moon will have moved to oppose Saturn. This aspect adds a Capricorn element to emotions, so you may find yourself indulging in some negativity or depression. Thankfully this transit is fleeting and thankfully the Aries Moon doesn’t do indulgence that well and is more inclined to keep moving through the low points or ignore the feelings- they will soon pass.
